Peter Fernandez is CEO of Mombak, which manages The Amazon Reforestation Fund. The Fund builds the world’s largest carbon removal projects through native, biodiverse reforestation of the Amazon rainforest. It has raised over $100M from some of the world’s largest and most sophisticated investors and partnered with Conservation International as Impact Advisor. Peter was previously the CEO of Brazil’s first technology unicorn, a ridehailing company called 99, and before that ran YouTube and Mobile for Google Latin America.
