Dr. Andrew Forrest, Founder and Chairman of Fortescue, Tattarang, and the Minderoo Foundation. Dr. Andrew Forrest AO is a global corporate and charitable leader committed to eliminating the use of fossil fuels, developing green energy alternatives, and addressing global issues such as modern slavery and marine devastation caused by overfishing and plastic pollution. Dr. Forrest is the founder and CEO of Fortescue (a $40 billion company). He is the world’s largest developer of green hydrogen through his public and private holdings, the owner of Squadron Energy, Australia’s largest renewable energy firm, and a key supplier of vital and strategic metals through Wyloo and Fortescue. Dr Forrest has made a public pledge to donate his money to philanthropy. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Minderoo Foundation, one of Asia’s greatest philanthropic organizations with an endowment of AU$7.6 billion. Dr. Forrest holds a PhD in marine ecology and was made an Officer of the Order of Australia for his outstanding contributions to employment, mining, philanthropy, and foreign investment that is sustainable.
