Sid Wahi, Managing Director of CMA Investment Holdings, joined the family business in May 2010, leading the setup of Forbes Africa. He oversees the company’s digital publishing units, including launching CNBCAfrica.com and ForbesAfrica.com, and played a pivotal role in securing licensing agreements for these platforms.
In 2018, Sid successfully led a restructuring project at CNBC Africa, cutting operating costs by 40% over three years. He also co-launched Crypto Trader in 2017, a pioneering TV show focused on cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
A keen adventurer, Sid summited Mt Kilimanjaro in March 2013 and is a member of the Young Presidents Organisation. Recognized for his achievements, he was named one of Mail & Guardian’s top 200 Young South Africans in 2014.
