Kate became CEO of the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation in 2016, having run CIFF’s Climate Change team since 2009.
Kate sits on the board of WeProtect and is chair of the European Climate Foundation. She also holds advisory roles with the Observer Research Foundation (India), the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development, and the COP28 Advisory Committee.
Prior to CIFF, Kate’s career spanned roles in government, finance, consulting, think tanks and NGOs, including working for Climate Change Capital, where she was Head of Policy.
Kate received an OBE for services to tackling climate change and supporting the UK Presidency of COP26, and she was featured in the top 100 Profiles of Paris, a collection of stories from the key people who created the Paris Agreement.
She holds a BSc from the London School of Economics and a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
