From 2000 to 2018, Cláudia was Chief Executive Officer of Sonae IM – the investment unit of Sonae that invests in technology in retail, telecommunications and cybersecurity.
From 2013 to 2018 Cláudia was also Chief Executive Officer of Sonae Capital, a separate listed
company present in several sectors such as real estate, renewable energy,
tourism, fitness and industry.
In 30 April 2019 Cláudia was elected to the position of Chief Executive Officer
of Sonae.
Amongst other board positions Cláudia is chairman of the board of Modelo
Continente (Retail), Sonae Sierra (Shopping Centres), Worten (Electronics
Retailing) and Non-Executive Board Member of NOS (Telecomunications)
Besides her degree in Management from Universidade Católica of Oporto,
Cláudia has an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France
