Olusola was appointed Managing Director and co-Head at AIIM in August 2020 and has more than 17 years of corporate finance and infrastructure equity investing experience across European and African markets.
AIIM is one of Africa’s largest infrastructure investment managers, with c.USD2bn under management and forms part of Old Mutual Alternative Investments, a leading alternatives platform in Africa with c.USD4bn under management.
Over the last decade, after founding the West African office for AIIM, Sola was responsible for originating, and executing pioneering investments into the digital infrastructure, power, renewables, midstream and transportation space across Africa, and also serving on several portfolio company boards.
Sola serves as a Director on the AIIM Board and is a member of the Executive Committee of Old Mutual Alternative Investments. Olusola is a member of the AIIM Investment Committees, namely AIIF3 and IDEAS.
Previously he worked at Macquarie Group’s European Infrastructure Funds team in London and prior to that at PwC London.
Olusola holds a B.Sc Economics (Hons) from the University College of London.
